JTM45/100 Style Power Transformer
1204-43
This transformer is a copy of the one used in JTM45/100 amps
from
1966. It is hand wound on a paper form and uses paper
insulation between the windings just like the old ones.
This transformer has primary taps for 100V, 120V, 220V, 230V
and 240V.
The original PT had a secondary voltage around 560VDC. This voltage is fine with the old GEC KT66's but is a bit hard on the modern KT66's of today. I had a second lower voltage winding added to this PT as an option for the newer tubes. This secondary voltage is in the 490VDC range and will be a lot kinder to your modern KT66's.
High quality steel laminations are used in this transformer
allowing for use at
50Hz or 60Hz wall voltage.
